Bio

Julian was born in South Wales.

Julian started playing percussion when he was thirteen, having been given
an old snare drum by a music teacher at school. He was introduced to local
county Youth Brass Band (MGYBB).
During his time with MGYBB, Julian performed many gigs at the St. David Hall
Cardiff and also toured to Europe on a number occassions.

Julian left MGYBB and continued to playing with The Cory Band and later the
BTM Band performing at some of UK's top concert halls - namely Birmingham
Symphony Hall, Royal Albert Hall and St. Davids Hall.

Wanting a change of music, Julian formed his own band - LivingLoud. LivingLoud
gigged weekly and were together for 5 years before naturally drifting apart

In 2008, Julian became involved with an Elvis Tribute Band entitled "In Memory
Of The King"

Noteable live events include performing to 72,000 people at the Millenium Stadium,
Cardiff and performing alongside Tom Jones, Michael Ball and Dame Shirley Bassey to
15,000 people at the opening of the National Assembly of Wales. Both these events
were televised

Julian also performs with local rock bands and big bands as required as well as
running a successful drum school following both the Rockschool and Trinity syllabuses.

Julians'drumming heroes are many but include Gregg Bissonnette, Steve White,
Vinnie Coliatu, Dave Weckl and Buddy Rich. However, he places Louis Bellson
at the top. "...my Dad bought me a recording of 'Skin Deep'. I will never
forget hearing it for the first time. It blew me away!"
